They brought friends indeed.

The King giving Sloane two choices was classic villain behavior. But her saying there's a third choice with that smirk? Iconic moment. She knew Sebastian was coming the whole time. The confidence in her eyes when she smiled at him was perfect. SEVEN DAYS writes such strong female leads who outsmart everyone. That overhead shot of all the armed men surrounding her was intense.
Recordings Change Everything
Sebastian revealing he recorded everything on that tiny camera was genius. Marcus's idea apparently. Now they have witnesses and evidence against the King. The look on Sloane's face when she realized was priceless. SEVEN DAYS always has a backup plan within a backup plan. The King escaping doesn't matter because they have the recordings. This changes the entire game moving forward.
Church Shootout Was Insane
The gunfire echoing through that cathedral was so loud and chaotic. Seeing the King duck behind pews while his men fought back was intense. SEVEN DAYS doesn't hold back on action sequences. The smoke and candlelight made it look like a movie. When the grandmother tried to pull Sloane away and she said never, that loyalty hit hard. Best action scene this season so far.
Snowy Embrace Ending
Ending with them hugging outside in the snow with police lights flashing was perfect. The contrast between the warm church interior and cold night outside mirrored their journey. SEVEN DAYS knows how to close an episode with emotion. Sebastian saying they won't get far while holding her showed protection and love. That final shot of them together gave me all the feels.
Margaret Mention Was Key
When Sloane told her grandmother that he has Margaret, everything clicked. That's why she had to go despite the danger. SEVEN DAYS plants these little clues that become huge later. The grandmother understanding but still being terrified added so much depth. Margaret must be important to the overall mystery. Can't wait to find out who she really is in the next episode.
Episode 23 Delivered Hard
The end card saying the hunt intensifies and betrayal has me so hyped. SEVEN DAYS episode 23 was non-stop tension from start to finish. The King's true face being revealed as that older gentleman was shocking. Between the emotional family moments and explosive church battle, this had everything. Already counting down days until the next episode drops. This show never disappoints.
