Watching Vivian get scolded for reading while Celeste is praised for the exact same activity is so frustrating! The father's bias is blatant. It makes me root for Vivian even more in Villainess Rising. She clearly has past life knowledge she can't share yet. That inner monologue about four lives was chilling.

Celeste Is Too Innocent

Celeste seems genuinely happy to study with Vivian, unaware of the tension. Her excitement about the wind spell shows she is still naive. Vivian protecting her by pretending to be a bad study partner is a great twist. Villainess Rising handles these sister dynamics with such depth.

Vivian's Secret Plan

The moment Vivian decided to contact Lord Derek changed everything. She knows exactly how to manipulate the situation based on her past lives. Writing that letter with such disdain while remembering her past passion is peak drama. Villainess Rising keeps the stakes high with every scene.

The Maid Knows Too Much

Molly's reaction to the letter being sent to Lord Derek was priceless. She thought they were in love, but Vivian is clearly using him. The contrast between Molly's hope and Vivian's cold calculation is perfect. I love how Villainess Rising uses side characters to highlight the main plot.

Past Life Trauma

Vivian remembering the love letters from her first life adds so much pain to her current actions. She was once passionate, now she is cold. Finding out Derek loved Celeste back then must have broken her. Villainess Rising explores reincarnation trauma better than most shows.

Father's Favoritism

The father praising Celeste as a good influence while insulting his own daughter is toxic. He has no idea Vivian is the one with real power and knowledge. His blindness will probably lead to his downfall later. Villainess Rising sets up family conflict perfectly in this episode.

Ending with Vivian sending the letter to Derek is a great cliffhanger. What will he say? How will Celeste react? The tension is building up nicely. Villainess Rising episode 6 left me needing more immediately. Can't wait to see the fallout!
