Thurston weds Amelia for dimples like his late love Eleanor. Amelia plots with ex Damon to steal his fortune. When she removes those dimples, Thurston divorces and ruins her. He learns Eleanor survived a blast, comatose five years, amnesiac as Nora. Amelia and Damon kidnap her but fail. Amelia is executed; Thurston marries the recovered Eleanor.
