The moment Marcus realizes his wife's miscarriage was orchestrated, his reaction is pure rage. Seeing his eyes turn red and him nearly attacking the others shows just how much pain he is in. It is heartbreaking to watch him scream about his wife being targeted. This emotional explosion in Little Miss Occult is the highlight of the episode for sure.

The blonde girl starts off looking like an angel in that green dress and tiara, but her confession reveals a monster underneath. Claiming she only wanted to help Dolan ruin her rival makes my skin crawl. The contrast between her sweet appearance and her cold admission of guilt is a brilliant storytelling choice in Little Miss Occult.

This family is absolutely toxic! From swapping babies to hijacking inheritances, everyone is hiding something terrible. The older man ordering the guards to take the girl away shows he knows exactly how dangerous she is. The power dynamics shifting so rapidly in Little Miss Occult keeps me on the edge of my seat every second.
Visual Storytelling Masterclass
The lighting changes when the hypnosis takes effect are such a cool detail. The blue glow on the blonde girl's face perfectly signals she is under a spell. Also, the gothic outfit of the interrogator contrasts so well with the fancy mansion setting. Little Miss Occult uses visual cues to tell the story just as well as the dialogue does.

Wait, they swapped the babies just to put Chloe in the heiress place? That is insane! The level of planning Dolan must have had to pull this off is scary. It recontextualizes the entire family history we thought we knew. Little Miss Occult just dropped a plot bomb that changes everything we know about the lineage.
Justice or Cruelty?
Is dragging a child away the right response here? She was manipulated by Dolan, after all. But then again, she admitted to helping ruin lives. The moral ambiguity of punishing a kid for adult crimes is heavy. Little Miss Occult does not shy away from making us question who the real victim is in this messed up situation.
