The scene where they hide behind the pillar to spy on the guests is classic. Lucius wants to see which miserable bastard the Regina chose, not realizing he is looking at him. The lighting and the secretive atmosphere add so much to the scene. Her Imperial Husband nails the visual storytelling.

Thracian Gladiator Stamina

Comparing the unknown groom to a Thracian gladiator is such a specific and funny compliment from Lucius. He thinks he is speculating, but he is actually describing reality. The father's subtle smile at the end suggests he might enjoy the praise. Love this dynamic in Her Imperial Husband.
