I was not expecting the sea to literally rise up and swallow the town in GodBorn. The CGI on that kraken-like beast is insane, especially when it grabs the bride. The tension when the guy realizes his destiny is tied to this monster is palpable. Definitely a wild ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

That Glow Up Though

Watching the protagonist go from a scared guy running away to having lightning crackle around his fist is pure satisfaction. The visual effects in GodBorn when his eyes start glowing gold gave me chills. It feels like he finally accepted his power. Can't wait to see what he does with that lightning arm next.

Poor Bride Got Snatched

My heart broke when the monster took the girl with the flower crown. She looked so terrified in GodBorn. The way the townspeople just froze while she was lifted into the air was haunting. It sets such a high stakes for the hero. Hope he saves her before it's too late because that looked brutal.

The old man with the glowing fruit gave such mysterious vibes. When he said retrieving the fruit of strife means passing the trial, I knew the hero was in for a rough time. The storm feels like a character itself, reflecting the chaos in the hero's life. The lighting and sound design really immerse you in the panic.
