The contrast between the drone delivering pizza and the zombies slipping on ice is peak dark comedy. It shows how quickly normal life turned into a nightmare. Seeing Wendy and Hunter form an alliance over food drops is such a unique way to build trust. Fortress Home really knows how to mix tension with those small moments of humanity.

The opening shot of zombies sliding on the frozen path sets such a chilling tone. You can feel the cold through the screen. The woman running for her life adds so much urgency to the plot. It makes you wonder who she is and if she'll make it to the safety of the group. The atmosphere in this show is incredible.

It makes total sense that Hunter was a fitness trainer before the outbreak. His physical capability is clearly a huge asset for the group's defense. Seeing him train Wendy in the flashback adds a nice layer to their relationship. They aren't just surviving together; they are strengthening each other to face whatever comes next.
