Watching her walk into that chamber felt like stepping into a trap. Fangs of Ascension captures that classic dungeon crawl feeling but with a modern fantasy twist.
She Should Have Run
Every instinct screamed at her to turn back when that shadow dragon formed above the crystal. The tension was palpable as she reached out despite the danger. Fangs of Ascension does a great job showing curiosity as a fatal flaw. That final shot of her bleeding lip said everything about the price of power.

I thought the snake was on her side until it started hissing at the crystal. The betrayal felt personal. Fangs of Ascension plays with the idea of familiars having their own agendas. Watching her realize she was alone against that emerging darkness was heartbreaking and thrilling all at once.
