Noah is the Real MVP

While her biological family was busy building snowmen and ignoring her pain, Noah shaved his head to stand by her side. That level of support is rare. Seeing them laugh together with bald heads gave me hope amidst all the toxicity surrounding Leah's diagnosis.

Grace's Panic Was Satisfying

Grace went from begging Leah to come home to turning white with fear when the truth came out. The way she stammered trying to explain her 'joke' showed her guilt perfectly. It's satisfying to see the 'perfect sister' facade crumble under the weight of reality in this show.

Family Dynamics Are Toxic

The contrast between the happy Shaw family next door and Leah's cold reception at home is heartbreaking. Her dad spitting on the ground and her mom's disappointment show a complete lack of empathy. This series really knows how to make you hate the antagonists effectively.
