In Alakine Desert, Kaelo—once the godlike "Desert King"—hides as a mechanic after his power killed his wife. When his daughter Nia is targeted by the Psionic Union and the Klan, he unleashes his might to save her. Betrayed by the Union, he leads survivors to Holy Mountain, sacrificing himself as a false god to shield the true savior. Blue rain falls, ending the war and reviving the desert.
