Ambril, the Wolf King of Silvermoon City, has been poisoned. His fated queen turns out to be Bank, a straight chef who signed the contract only to save his girlfriend. The two enter a forced marriage out of a financial transaction, and gradually grow fond of each other as they fight against a conspiracy. When Bank discovers the mark will cost him his life, he leaves heartbroken. They reunite three years later; Ambril pursues him with deep affection.
