Jane Needs a Reality Check

Jane is so arrogant in this scene, thinking her lightness skill makes her untouchable. She really thought she could bully the new captain and get away with it. The way she touches his armor and mocks him was annoying, but it made his retaliation even better. When Tom said Phantom Step and vanished, my jaw dropped. This show on netshort app never fails to deliver those cool martial arts moments. Can't wait to see the rest of the team react to this.

Stefan and Leo are Hilarious

While everyone is focused on the captain and Jane, I have to mention Stefan and Leo. Their commentary on Tom being a kid and having thin arms was so funny. It adds a great layer of realism to the team dynamics. They are the rebels who need to be kept in check, just like the lady said. (Dubbed) Kill-To-Grow? I Love It! does a great job of making every character feel distinct. The poison master and the strongman are definitely going to be fun to watch.

That Phantom Step Move

The choreography in this clip is insane. One second Jane is flirting and threatening, and the next she is being choked by Tom. The speed of the Phantom Step was blurred out perfectly to show his high level of skill. It instantly silences the doubters. I love how the show doesn't need long fights to prove a point. Just one move establishes Tom's authority. This is why I keep coming back to netshort app for my drama fix.

The Lady Knows Best

The lady in white seems to have a lot of authority here. She handpicked these elites and specifically chose Tom as the captain despite his looks. She warned them that the elites are rebellious, and she was totally right. Her expression when Jane gets caught was priceless. She knew exactly what would happen. (Dubbed) Kill-To-Grow? I Love It! has such interesting political undertones with this special ops team formation. I wonder what the secret mission is.

From Mockery to Shock

The shift in atmosphere is incredible. It starts with everyone laughing and mocking Tom, especially Leo saying he can beat eight of him. Then Jane gets all flirty and aggressive. But the moment Tom moves, the silence is deafening. You can see the fear in Jane's eyes when she realizes she messed with the wrong person. This kind of instant karma is my favorite trope. The acting in this short drama is top notch.
