Lin Lu Needs a Break

Poor Lin Lu looks absolutely terrified the entire time. Watching her scream warnings while the pink-haired guy just smiles and smells the weapon is a great contrast. The scene where she realizes the attack missed and covers her mouth in shock was very relatable. It adds a nice layer of human fear to balance out the supernatural arrogance of the main fighter.

Comedy Gold in a Dark Domain

This clip proves that the best way to defeat a monster is to confuse it. The dialogue is sharp and funny, especially when he compliments her scent mid-battle. Seeing the Empress lose her cool because of a weird question was the highlight. It feels like a parody of serious battle anime but with high-quality animation. Definitely makes me want to binge more of S-Class Horrors? No cute girls right now.

From Terror to Blushing in Seconds

The shift in tone here is insane. One minute the Spider Empress is threatening to grind bones to dust, and the next she is blushing and calling him a perv. It is hilarious to see such a terrifying SSS-level phantom get completely disarmed by sheer audacity. The animation of her domain crumbling while she gets flustered is a visual treat I did not expect.

That Golden Ruler is Overpowered

Can we talk about that glowing golden ruler? The way he summoned it to block the Death Bone Spike was so smooth. It completely shattered her ultimate attack like it was nothing. The visual effects when the purple energy clashed with the golden light were stunning. It really shows why he told the others to fall back and leave it to him.

I came for the monster fight but stayed for the absolute chaos of that pink-haired guy. Watching him casually catch a deadly bone spike and then ask about body wash? Pure comedy gold.
