I love how the mood switches from absolute chaos to cool confidence. Bob Zane goes from destroying his office to leading a massive squad down the hallway like a movie star. The way his men grab those weapons and follow him is so cinematic. It feels like the calm before a huge storm in Legend Never Die. You just know they are heading into a major fight!
Those Weapons Though
Can we talk about that armory scene? Seeing all those blades lined up gave me serious goosebumps. The sound design when they pick them up was so crisp. It instantly raises the stakes for whatever is coming next. Legend Never Die does not hold back on the preparation scenes. You can tell this crew means business and is ready for war.
The Hallway Walk
There is something so satisfying about the slow-motion hallway walk with a full crew. Bob Zane leading the charge with his hands in his pockets while everyone else is hyped up behind him is iconic. It shows he is the calm leader in the storm. This scene in Legend Never Die perfectly captures that gangster movie vibe we all love.
Anger Management Issues
Bob Zane needs to work on his temper! Smashing the vase and kicking the table over just because of a phone call is intense. But honestly, that is what makes the character so compelling. He is volatile and dangerous. Legend Never Die does a great job showing that he is not a guy you want to mess with when he is in a bad mood.
