The reveal about Bella carrying William Norman's baby changed everything for me instantly. It adds so much weight to why she is being targeted by enemies. His Lost Girl handles the stakes really well throughout the episode. The classroom scene was tense but the rescue made it all worth the stress involved. William Norman is the ultimate protector archetype in this series. Giving her his watch and then saving her life shows his devotion clearly. His Lost Girl writes male leads who actually take action immediately. The leather jacket look suits him perfectly after the white shirt scene earlier. I need more episodes of him protecting Bella soon.
Mystery Layers
Not knowing who drugged him added such good mystery to the flashbacks originally. His Lost Girl layers the backstory well without slowing down the present danger much. The hot tongs scene made me squirm in my seat uncomfortably. Thank goodness William heard the call about Bella being in danger finally. The timing was perfect for rescue.
Perfect Weekend Watch
Watching this on netshort was such a treat for me personally. His Lost Girl is exactly the kind of drama I crave after a long day of work. The mix of luxury settings and gritty danger works well together. Bella's strength despite being vulnerable is inspiring to see. I am already waiting for the next season to drop soon hopefully.
