Died Once? Now I Date Ghosts!

A college girl stays up too late and dies. She wakes up in another world as a trainee spirit hunter. To find her way back home, she is trapped in the school. What is going on? She hides in the music room. Then, the piano starts playing. But the person playing it has no feet... More strange things keep happening.

System Upgrade Complete

That little ghost girl acting as the system interface is absolutely adorable yet terrifying. Her manic laughter when the data streams in is iconic. I love how Died Once? Now I Date Ghosts! blends traditional talisman aesthetics with futuristic HUDs. It makes the cultivation process feel like a high-stakes video game level up.

Rings of Power

Can we talk about those rings? The way the purple gem pulses before the whole temple starts shaking is a great detail. It hints at a deeper lore about where her power comes from. Died Once? Now I Date Ghosts! does a great job showing that magic has a physical cost and weight to it, not just sparkles.

Floating with Style

The scene where she levitates in the hallway with her hair flowing in zero gravity is pure cinema. It signifies her shedding her human limitations. I was holding my breath waiting to see if she would crash, but she just hovered there with such confidence. Died Once? Now I Date Ghosts! knows how to deliver a cool entrance.

Eyes Like Stars

The close-up on her eyes glowing with that intense blue starlight was breathtaking. It is the perfect visual cue that she is no longer entirely human. The animation team really outdid themselves with the particle effects in her pupils. Died Once? Now I Date Ghosts! makes every transformation feel epic and personal.

Ancient Meets Future

I am obsessed with the setting design. You have these ancient stone statues and chains, but then a holographic screen appears with coding scripts. It creates such a unique atmosphere that I have not seen before. Died Once? Now I Date Ghosts! really commits to this cyber-cultivation aesthetic and it works perfectly.
