I am obsessed with the costume details here. The gold braiding on the General's jacket versus the tactical gear of the intruders tells a whole story of old power meeting new threats. A standout moment in Dad Loves You, Always! for sure.

Sometimes the best scenes have the least dialogue. The stare-down between the man in the grey coat and the General is intense. You can feel the history and rivalry between them just through their body language. The background music probably swells right here to maximize the drama. This kind of visual storytelling is why I keep coming back to Dad Loves You, Always!.

The contrast between the elegant setting and the sudden violence is striking. Tables are set for a feast, but now everyone is dodging soldiers.
