The way the family dynamic shifts from calm to chaos in seconds is brilliant writing.

I was not expecting the tone shift in Crafting Legends to be this drastic! One minute they are arguing over breakfast, and the next, the main character is in a dark, gothic hall holding a glowing purple crystal. Who is the guy in the purple and black outfit with the mask in Crafting Legends? He shows up out of nowhere with a sword and looks super dangerous. His design is sleek and intimidating. The way he moves suggests he is a highly trained fighter. Seeing him clash with the main character creates a great rivalry dynamic. I hope we get more backstory on him soon because he seems pivotal to the conflict.

I did not expect to feel so many emotions watching Crafting Legends. From the funny misunderstandings at home to the serious look in the protagonist's eyes when he holds the crystal, the range is impressive. The scene where the little boy watches the man walk away gave me chills. It hints at a deeper, perhaps sadder backstory. This show manages to be funny, exciting, and touching all at once.
