Axel Deserved Better

Axel Jones seemed like such a kind brother, watering plants and welcoming his sister-in-law with open arms. It makes the violence against him even more shocking. The way Melyn tried to protect him with her own body shows the depth of their bond. This show really doesn't hold back on the emotional damage.

That Red Outfit Though

Yuill Jones looks absolutely stunning in that red blouse and headband. Her expression shifts from polite smiles to deep concern as the flashbacks hit. The costume design in Reborn in the '80s, Dumping My Ex for Good is impeccable, perfectly capturing the 80s aesthetic while highlighting her character's elegance amidst chaos.

Melyn Is The Real Hero

Can we talk about Melyn? She didn't hesitate to throw herself over Axel when the thugs attacked. Watching her cry over his unconscious body in the rain was devastating. Her loyalty and bravery shine through the tragedy, making her one of the most compelling characters I've seen in a long time.

The Rain Scene Was Intense

The cinematography during the attack scene is gritty and realistic. The rain, the headlights, the blood mixing with water—it all adds to the horror of losing Axel. Reborn in the '80s, Dumping My Ex for Good knows how to build tension. The contrast between the dry, warm courtyard and the wet, cold alley is stark.

Poor Little Ricah

Ricah Jones looks so innocent and happy in the beginning, playing with the little boy. The glimpse of her being threatened later suggests a dark turn for her character too. It's terrifying to think about what this family has to endure. The child actor also did a great job looking confused and scared.
