Ep Review

The Audacity of Leon

Watching Leon demand child support from Nora while his mistress stands by is peak villainy. The way he claims the baby is his heir but refuses to pay a cent shows his true colors. In (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise, the tension at this IPO event is unbearable. Nora's calm demeanor while being insulted makes me root for her revenge even more.

Sophie's Smug Face

Sophie thinking she can just waltz in and take everything is infuriating. She mocks Nora for doing housework while she was overseas, completely ignoring Nora's sacrifices. The scene where she demands the divorce papers be signed immediately is so toxic. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise really knows how to make you hate the antagonist effectively. Can't wait to see her fall.

The Godmother Insult

Leon suggesting Nora be the godmother instead of the mother is the ultimate disrespect. He acts like he did all the work having the baby while she suffered through IVF. The nerve of him to say she only contributed sperm is disgusting. This plot twist in (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise hits hard. Nora laughing at the end gives me hope for her comeback.

Public Humiliation Tactics

The setting of a public IPO ceremony makes this confrontation even more dramatic. Leon and Sophie trying to force Nora to sign in front of investors and reporters is low. The older man telling them to keep family drama in check was the only voice of reason. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise uses the public setting to raise the stakes perfectly.

Nora's Silent Strength

Nora not taking a single cent and refusing child support shows she wants a clean break. She knows Leon is trying to trap her with money. Her laughter at the end suggests she has a secret weapon or knowledge they don't. The character development in (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise is top tier. She is done being the victim.

The Baby Switch Theory

Why did Sophie bring a nanny with a stroller so suddenly? Is that really their baby or did they plan this whole thing? Leon's obsession with the 'Walker bloodline' seems suspicious if he is so quick to divorce the mother. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise has me questioning the paternity already. Something feels off about this 'heir'.

Financial Abuse Exposed

Leon claiming he bought the house and car while Nora paid for everything is gaslighting at its finest. He treats her like a walking ATM then complains when she won't pay more. The dialogue about her depending on him is ironic since she is clearly the one with the resources. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise highlights financial control issues well.

The Mistress Energy

Sophie's outfit and attitude scream 'new money' trying to prove herself. She clings to Leon's arm and echoes his insults about Nora. Her comment about Nora being bitter is projection because she is the one stealing a family. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise portrays the homewrecker trope with such satisfying hateability. I love to hate her.

Leon's Delusion

Leon truly believes he is the prize here. He thinks Nora will beg to be the godmother and pay for the kid's future. His shock when she laughs shows he underestimated her. The line about her being poked 300 times was cruel but showed his lack of empathy. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise makes Leon a hateable character you love to watch fail.

The Divorce Trap

They tried to trick Nora into signing a document that gives her nothing. Leon reading the terms aloud like it's a favor to her is insane. The fact that he thinks she will agree to zero assets and zero custody is delusional. (Dubbed) His Betrayal, My Rise sets up a great legal battle coming up. Nora is not signing that paper.
