Can we talk about how Xia Jin stood by Li Qiankun even when the system rated them both low? Her loyalty and that fierce look in her eyes when they faced the registration desk made my heart race. It is not just about the robots; it is about the bond between the pilot and the partner. This show captures that emotional connection perfectly alongside the action.
The Rivalry is Heating Up
That guy in the trench coat thinking he owns the place was so annoying, but it set up the conflict perfectly. Seeing Li Qiankun shut him down with pure skill rather than words was so satisfying. Trash Mech to SSS: My OP System does a great job of making you hate the arrogant rich kids so you can cheer louder when the heroes win. Can not wait for their match!
Visuals That Pop
The animation quality in the transformation sequences is absolutely stunning. The way the red mech lights up and the energy effects swirl around it is a feast for the eyes. It feels like a high-budget movie rather than a short series. Every time Li Qiankun engages the thrusters, the screen just explodes with color. Definitely worth watching just for the spectacle alone.
Underestimated No More
There is something so relatable about being told you are not good enough and then proving everyone wrong. Li Qiankun's journey from being laughed at in the line to dominating the sky is the motivation I needed today. The scene where he smirks after the test results came in was pure gold. Cute Chibi Moments
I was not expecting the chibi art style to appear, but it added such a fun layer to the storytelling! Seeing the characters react in that super-deformed style during the emotional beats made me laugh out loud. It breaks the tension nicely before diving back into the serious mech battles. It shows the creators have a good sense of humor about the tropes they are using.
