(Dubbed) Horror Game? I Thought It Was a Dating Sim!

Trapped in a deadly horror game, I am forced by a system to romance the monsters! While others flee for their lives, I must read poems to ghosts and dance with skeletons. The System warns: Seduce the abyss or be erased. When romantic tropes meet spine-chilling terror... can I fake love to save my life?

Ep Review

Silence is Golden, Noise is Death

The introduction of the Shadow Hunter's domain gave me actual chills. The rule about absolute silence is a classic horror trope but executed with such intensity here. The nurse's warning about the deaf-mute butcher being sensitive to sound now creates immediate stakes. You can feel the characters holding their breath. The atmosphere in the furnace corridor is suffocating in the best way possible for a thriller.

Red Eyes in the Dark

That little girl with the glowing red eyes is an absolute scene stealer. One moment she is asking for sweets like a normal kid, and the next she is pointing out supernatural phenomena with a creepy grin. Her design is unsettling yet adorable. The contrast between her innocent white dress and those demonic eyes makes every scene she is in unpredictable. I am totally hooked on her character arc so far.

Hospital Nightmares Come True

The setting of an abandoned hospital basement is always effective, but the specific details here make it stand out. The cold blue lighting, the peeling paint, and the ominous signs create a perfect backdrop for fear. When the girl said it was cold, I could almost feel the draft myself. The visual storytelling does a great job of making the environment feel like a character itself. (Dubbed) Horror Game? I Thought It Was a Dating Sim! nails this aesthetic.

Brother Knows Best

The male lead has such a calm demeanor despite the terrifying situation. Patting the girl's head while discussing life or death stakes shows a strange kind of confidence. His blue eyes and white hoodie make him look out of place yet completely in control. The way he handles the little monster suggests a deep backstory. I need to know more about their past and why they are tackling this furnace demon together.

The Lollipop Pact

The dynamic between the brother and the little girl is terrifyingly cute. He promises her a whole box of lollipops if she behaves, but the tension in the air is thick. It feels like a twisted family drama mixed with survival horror. Watching them navigate the dark corridors while keeping her happy adds such a unique layer to the story. (Dubbed) Horror Game? I Thought It Was a Dating Sim! really captures this weird emotional bond perfectly.
